Like many of you in ISO at home, we spent the last months in voluntary hibernation, as it was the only effective way to protect ourselves, our guests and the wider comunity from Covid transmission risk. As the restrictions eased and the number of community contagions decreased drastically, we have determined that at this stage is reasonably safe to resume our public transport service. The safety and well-being of our guests and team members has always been a top priority for us and that’s why we have put in place a set of new health and safety arrangements while we adapting to the new normal. We run checks on vehicles, equipment and riders as part of our daily routine, and from now on we will also implement the following steps to mitigate Covid-19 transmission risks:
•Monitoring & health screening of all our guests and riders.
•Masks and sanitizer will be available on every tour.
•Physical distancing is impracticable onboard our motorcycles, but it will be applied where possible during the rest of the experience. As advised by the Point to Point Commissioner, the 1.5 meter social distancing is highly recommended but not mandatory aboard taxis, hire cars, tour buses, and tour motorcycles.
•Helmets and vehicle touch points will be sanitized before and after every use.
•Guests are required to wear full face helmets with closed visor while in close proximity to the rider.
•We will NOT provide riding jackets and gloves during the pandemic. (Please wear warm and comfortable clothes accordingly to weather conditions)
•Passengers showing flu-like symptoms will be not permitted to take part in any of our activities.
If you’re showing symptoms of COVID-19 please notify us immediately and seek medical attention by calling your doctor or the National Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080; most importantly, avoid contact with others.
